Foreign investors wishing to settle in France to undertake a planned investment can apply for a Talent Passport marked ‘Business investor’ if they proceed to a direct investment either Personally or Via a company.
Their family can benefit from the simplified accompanying family procedure. Your spouse and your minor children (under 18) automatically receive a multi-year family talent passport residence card. The duration of this card is equal to the remaining validity period of your stay. It gives the right to exercise any professional activity.
If you invest personally, You must meet all of the following conditions :
- You personally invest in a company in which you acquire a lasting interest (at least 10% of the capital)
- You plan to create or save jobs within 4 years of investing in France
- The investment in tangible or intangible fixed assets must represent at least € 300,000
If you invest via a company, You must meet all of the following conditions :
- You invest via a company that you personally manage or in which you hold at least 30% of the capital
- You plan to create or save jobs within 4 years of investing in France
- The investment in tangible or intangible fixed assets must represent at least € 300,000
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Your long-stay visa
- Your passport (pages relating to civil status, validity dates and entry stamps)
- Birth certificate (full copy or extract with parentage)
- If you are married: marriage certificate (full copy or extract with parentage)
- If you have children: birth certificate (full copy or extract with parentage) of each child
- Proof of address less than 3 months old
- 3 photos
- Cerfa form
- Evidence of the personal management of a company (or of the ownership of at least 30% of the capital of a company that you manage)
- Evidence of creation or safeguarding of employment in the 4 years following investment in France (letter of commitment with annual job creation and business plan)
- Evidence of a direct investment in France of at least € 300,000
- Proof of resources greater than or equal to the minimum wage for full time.
